Collages

Collages are lovingly created from a range of painted papers and mixed media backgrounds. Nothing is wasted. Excess paint and scraps of paper that might otherwise be discarded, all find a new lease of life and add interest, texture and vibrancy to these wonderful collaged pieces. Finally, the clean graphic cutout of a mask is applied, to accentuate the richness of material within the artwork. Bird’s of the coast emerge from the paper.
The Puffin, Sandpiper, Turnstone and Lapwing make up a tiny part of a tapestry of coastal characters waiting to be celebrated.
